Dearest class,
I know there have been all sorts of rumors of my leaving Dong Hwa forever, but none of them is true!
I try to think of reasons to explain the rumors.
1. Some students guessed so when they found out that I'm not teaching any courses for English majors next semester. Actually several students have asked me this question since the new course list was post online several weeks ago.
2. I myself didn't explain clearly when I talked to you publicly or privately. For me, not teaching you any more next semester is like saying goodbye to you since I know we might have little chance in the future to be as close as we are now. A part of my heart is being taken away by you, and I really hate this sentimentality of myself whenever I see my students leaving me.
Well, we are having a farewell party in 3 weeks because YOU are leaving, not I : ) Oh, of course, to celebrate my coming wedding, too : )
Anyway, dear all, please help clear the rumors if you have any chance.
