Dear class,
When you are paraphrasing a paragraph, you are supposed to rewrite all of the content of the original passage. In other words, your paraphrase should be almost as long as the original one.
Note the difference between a summary and a paraphrase.
Also, you should rewrite each sentence by using your own words and varying the sentence structure. It is NOT acceptable if your paragraph contains the same vocabulary and sentence structure as the original one.
